Arctic Cat 700
Arctic Cat had hunters in mind when they designed their 700 ATV. Arctic Cat has its design center located in rural northwestern Minnesota and they test their vehicles in the scenic Bletrami Island State Forest.
Sportsmen love the Arctic Cat 700 for its tremendous hunting capability. Powered by a single cylinder, liquid cooled 4 stroke engine that delivers smooth power when hauling hunting gear or game. The power is supplied via the 695cc, SOHC, single cylinder, liquid cooled engine that has a wide torque curve and smooth delivery of power via the EFI (electronic fuel injection). This engine does not stress as it is tuned to precision. The fuel injection means no choking and allows the engine to run great at different altitudes.
The Arctic Cat 700 has a switch-operated 4WD system. As with other ATVs the quad must be stopped to switch to 4 wheel drive. The locking differential is there when you need to go through deep mud and it easily unlocks for easy steering on tamer trails.
The independent suspension on all four corners use double A-arms to get the 25 inch tires through the generous 10 inches of suspension travel. The front springs are adjustable for load. The Arctic Cat 700 is a champion in the mud. The fenders are tall and wide so you won’t be sprayed with mud and water. You can roll right over big obstacles with the 12 inches of ground clearance the 700 gives you. Front and rear disc brakes bring this workhorse to a stand still with confidence.
The gas tank has a 6.5 gallon capacity and there is a great storage area in front of the rider for your wallet, keys and maps. The combo analog/digital speedometer are big and easy to read.
The Arctic Cat 700 can be customized by adding accessories that will help you out when hunting. A Speedrack rear carrier can be purchased that adjusts for height and has rubber sleeves to protect your gear. It can be removed in seconds. You can purchase a three-point hitch or a PowerLoader that uses winch power to lift your big game. The Kolpin Gun Transport is designed to carry rifles while the Bucket hugger holds two five gallon buckets as well as tools.
