Can-Am Outlander Max

Can-Am’s Outlander series offers a wide variation of engine sizes. The Can-Am Outlander Max is a two rider model which is built on a longer frame that is designed to carry the weight of two riders. It is very stable under load with the stretched axle placement. The great design gives your passenger his own footrests and comfortable and solid handholds. The passenger seat is elevated so he can get a clear view over the driver’s shoulder. The passenger backrest moves with the motion of the quad for great comfort.
The Can-Am Outlander Max is powered by a 500cc engine. This is a V twin configuration with EFI and a liquid cooled overhead cam with four valves per cylinder.
The front suspension is a McPherson strut set-up that is firm and also soaks up rough bumps. The rear is a TTI suspension. This Trailing Torsional Independent system on the rear allows each wheel to move independently which provides you with great stability and optimal travel on rocky surfaces.
The Can-Am Max with the large frame is ideal for add-ons so touring is comfortable and practical. The front and rear heavy duty cargo racks can hold 100 pounds in the front and 200 in the back.
Now for dimensions. The Outlander Max weighs in at a hefty 688 pounds, has a wheelbase of 59 inches, a length of 94 inches and a width of 46 inches. The fuel capacity is a full 5.4 gallons so fill-ups are few and far between. The Outlander Max is available in Viper Red or Yellow.
The Can-Am Outlander Max is an impressive machine. It has more than enough power to take you, your passenger and a whole lot of gear out into the wild and you can be sure that you will power up the steep hills with ease and cross those rocky creeks with no trouble at all.
