Can-Am Outlander

Can-Am offers quad lovers raw power, outstanding performance and rugged durability with the Outlander ATV.
The Can-Am Outlander is powered by a 71 horsepower, 799.9cc V twin EFI engine, so if speed is your thing, you are going to fall in love quickly with this quad. It is a blast to rip through tight trails and the handling is nimble.
The Can-AM Outlander 800R EFI XT offers Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) and cast aluminum wheels with ACT radial tires.
Taking it up a notch further the Outlander 800R EFI XT-P gives you rugged durability with its premium painted black plastics, handlebar wind deflectors and a factory installed winch that is equipped with a wired remote control that stows away neatly in the front storage compartment.
Each of the Outlander models use the same chassis components such as the front suspension that features a McPherson Strut system that is very firm but also soaks up big bumps on the trail. The rear consists of a TTI suspension or Trailing Torsional Independent suspension. Each wheel moves independently and the swingarm moves the wheels rearward when the suspension compresses instead of to the side. With this suspension the tire remains on the ground and it eliminates tire scrub which kills stability. Steering and balance is greatly enhanced on very rugged terrain.
The Can-Am Outlander’s four wheel drive system is called Visco-Lok which uses oil pressure that is triggered by wheel spin to lock up wet clutches. This system is automatic, so you do not have to engage it. The transfer of power does not make the wheels hop. This system transfers as much as 100 per cent of the power of the engine to whichever wheel has the traction.
The Can Am Outlander offers rugged cargo racks on the rear and front that can carry 300 pounds together, so you do not have to leave any gear behind.
The Outlander by Can-Am is a great looking ATV that is extremely durable and rugged and is built for speed as well as versatility .
