The independent suspension on all four corners use double A-arms to get the 25 inch tires through the generous 10 inches of suspension travel. The front springs are adjustable for load. The Arctic Cat 700 is a champion in the mud. The fenders are tall and wide so you won’t be sprayed with mud and water. Powering the Arctic Cat 500 is a Suzuki 499cc, 4 stroke, liquid cooled engine that maintains consistent performance in hot, cold or inclement weather. The wide fenders on the Arctic Cat 500 protect you from water and mud sprays and the “Cat-Eye” headlights and full floorboard are integrated into the body. You get a large storage compartment and a big and wide seat for comfort. The seat is easily removable which gives you access to the tool tray underneath.

When you need that extra traction, just flip a switch. The locking front differential is activated from the handlebar mounted lever so you can quickly engage and disengage the front wheels. This complements the electronic 2WD/4WD switch for making power delivery changes.

The Arctic Cat 500 has a standard slim SpeedRack on the front and back. The 6.5 gallon capacity of the fuel tank means you can ride all day without re-fueling and the tank is rear mounted.

You can choose between a Duramatic automatic transmission that feature engine braking or the auto clutch 5 speed manual transmission with a Hi/Low range.

The adjustable shocks on the front and rear are spring preloaded. For outstanding trail driving the front locking 4WD differential and the rear mounted swaybar handle it all.

The Arctic Cat Prowlers are hard workers, great looking, extremely rugged and durable and are designed with both fun and work in mind.

For 2009 there are two Cruiser models- the TRV 100H2 EFI Cruiser that sports the Arctic Cat big 90 degree twin engine and the TRV 700 H1 EFI that features Cat’s 700 class fuel injected single cylinder engine. These TRVs boast a long list of standard features such as a windshield that is connected to a two piece fairing, mirrors, cup holder, comfortable 2-Up seats with heated hand grips and a big and comfortable backrest for the passenger. The handlebars are heated and there is a big and lockable touring case on the back. These machines have great looking 12 inch aluminum wheels.

The other two 2-UP ATVs in the TRV lineup are the TRV 550 with Cat’s new engine and the TRV 400 that has a 366 air cooled single cylinder engine. These standard TRVs have expanded wheelbases for stability and great seats.

The Arctic Cat TRV 400 has an automatic transmission and an independent suspension for making riding tandem lots of fun. The 366cc liquid cooled engine with single overhead cam delivers lots of power and gives you instant gratification when you hit the throttle. The independent suspension features a low profile and a low seat design so the center of gravity is low but it still maintains 10 inches of ground clearance. This means you can hammer through tight corners and roll right over big obstacles on the trail.

The passenger seat is roomy and comfortable and can be removed for versatility. Behind the passenger seat is a touring rack. You can take the passenger seat off and add an optional 200 pound capacity Speedrack or an optional heavy duty cargo box.

The automatic transmission on the Arctic Cat TRV is very easy to operate and includes a dynamic engine braking system. There is a Hi/Low shift range and a long life and maintenance-free belt.

When the trail becomes challenging, the electric shift lets you shift from two wheel drive to four wheel drive while on the fly by just punching a button. When you need lots of traction in the mud, simply activate the front differential lock.

The DVX 300 is small in stature but the performance, ride and handling are nothing short of phenomenal.

No need to hassle with shifting on the Arctic Cat DVX 300. The tough and efficient automatic transmission is easy to drive and is very responsive. Twist the throttle and you’re off instantly.

The stopping power is supplied by the front drum brakes and rear hydraulic disc service brake.

Arctic Cat makes the 90 DVX for those younger ones in the family who want some great fun.
