The Honda FourTrax Rubicon features an automatic clutch and full automatic hydro mechanical transmission as well as direct front and rear drive shafts with TraxLix and a torque-sensitive front differential. TraxLok lets you shift between 2 WD and 4 WD while moving with just a push of your thumb.
The ready-when-you-are Rubicon was designed so that you can concentrate on the work or the long and winding trail and leave the big business to the ATV.
The suspension on the Rubicon is an independent double wishbone front suspension and a swingarm with dual shocks on the back. Braking power is steady and reliable thanks to the 180 mm front discs with single piston calipers and the rear sealed mechanical drum brake.
The GPScape model features a GPS unit that comes with a easy to read LCD display. You can store 100 waypoints and it comes with a digital compass and an automatic compensating clock. You will safely get to and from your destination and will be told the distance and direction from your present location.
The Hondamatic transmission on the Honda FourTrax Rubicon uses variable hydraulic pressure and torque amplication to give you effortless job handling power and outstanding acceleration.
The Rubicon features great looking SUV styling that gives this four wheeler a very rugged and ready-for-adventure look. Water resistant storage is integrated into the body work and you get a big 4.2 gallon fuel tank so you can stay out in the wild longer.
The LCD digital instrument panel is built tough and is water resistant and offers a complete range of readings including gear selector position and tripmeter.
When the terrain turns wet, the snorkel-type air intake system is specially designed for water crossings. The Rubicon has a triple headlight system with a single 45 watt upper light and dual 30 watt lower lights with a multi-reflector lenses for outstanding light distribution at night.
You get rugged racks on the front and back as well as a rear opening storage compartment that allows access even when the rack is loaded full.
