The SportClutch bridges the gap between an automatic transmission and a full manual transmission.

The 229cc, air cooled four stroke longitudinally-mounted engine produces plenty of low end torque. Popping wheelies is easy and fun due to the short wheelbase the Honda TRX 350EX offers. The electric start is very responsive and the throttle effort is light and easy to manage with the 22 mm Keihin carburetor.

The Honda TRX250EX requires very little maintenance other than checking the tire pressure, cleaning the air intake filter and changing oil on occasion. The air box, battery and carb are easy to access under the seat.

This Honda has a 5 speed transmission with reverse and it is shaft driven. The shaft is inside the swingarm so it is virtually maintenance free. The non-adjustable front double A arm control arms handle the rough terrain very well and the mono rear shock sits up and down and offers 5.7 inches of wheel travel.

The short wheelbase of the 250EX makes it take corner really well. It is not tippy and it is very easy to whip around rocks and trees.

Stopping power is provided with the front dual hydraulic brake calipers that halt the steel discs well and the sealed rear drum brake gets the job done behind you.

The Honda 250EX is affordable and is designed to help younger less experienced riders enhance their skills before going on to a bigger and more powerful ATV.
